The freed hours can go to billable work. If those hours are billed, they are worth the billed rate, not just the wage below.
The payback math (an estimate, not a promise)
Billed time uses the non-lawyer rate in the Clio 2025 Legal Trends Report. Wage cost uses the BLS OEWS, May 2025 national mean for paralegals and legal assistants.
- Assumed time saved: about 5 hours a week (an assumption, not a measurement; we haven't measured it at a customer)
- Billed rate: $187/hour (Clio). Value: about 5 × $187 ≈ $935 a week. Payback: $3,000 ÷ $935 is about 3 weeks.
- Wage: $33.51/hour (BLS). Value: about 5 × $33.51 ≈ $168 a week. Payback: $3,000 ÷ $168 is about 18 weeks.
Your numbers will differ. Hours saved depend on your files and how your team works, and an attorney still reviews anything that goes to a client or a court. If it saves fewer hours, payback takes longer.
What you're buying
It is yours, not a subscription. The $3,000 is a flat sprint. We deploy the assistant on your hardware (it can run fully offline) or in your own cloud tenant. We do not host it, so there is no monthly fee from us.

A private deployment lowers the risk of AI leaks. It doesn't replace your own security program and doesn't remove any compliance, ethics or contractual obligations (including SOC 2, if you're subject to it).
